Delhi Digests is a website created in collaboration with Toxics Link New Delhi, which hosts a growing collection of interviews, images and data around the issue of e-waste in Delhi. A series of conversations with activists, waste-pickers, urban planners, journalists and bureaucrats explore how citizens, the state and corporations coexist along the often divisive lines of this issue. Delhi Digests suggests a political take on e-waste, looking at it as an indicator of democracy and a measure of equity in society. Delhi Digests is an experiment in how the sourcing, arranging and organising of information may reveal hidden commentaries, politics and realities about an issue, and so this Sketchbook is another iteration of an idea and a practice that we call Information Activism.
